Caregivers' Support Group

Anyone who provides informal care and support, at home or in a facility, to family members or friends who are ill, elderly, or dealing with physical or mental limitations is welcome to attend. (Not for professional health care providers).

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. in Room 101 in our building. This is an informal "drop-in" group. Come when you are able.

Why attend?  Meet and talk with other caregivers; learn new coping and problem solving skills, enjoy guest speakers; become aware of community resources; receive continued support after facility placement or death of your loved one.

For more information call:

Judy Lee, Coordinator

Tel: 604-859-7681 Local 257.

The Caregivers' Support Office, #109 in the Seniors' Department, is open from Monday to Wednesday, 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Feel free to drop in to discuss any caregiving concerns. If we can't help you, we can probably tell you who can.
