Abbotsford Community Services is not a branch of the city or government, but a non-profit agency with programs that serve everyone from children to seniors, from new immigrants to people with developmental disabilities.
Whether you are a current or potential client, a volunteer, or an interested community member, we invite you to join us as one of the many people helping people.
How Can I Donate?
All you have to do is click the “donate now” button and follow the instructions. All information entered is strictly confidential and security protected and donor information is only provided to the charity to which the donation has been made.
Today, through careful management, Abbotsford Community Services offers more than 70 distinct social service programs in Abbotsford, Mission and Langley.
Many of these programs are funded in whole or in part through government contracts, grants, or fees for service. But many programs, like the Food Bank, rely on community support to maintain services to meet the ongoing demands of this growing and constantly changing community.
That is why your donation is so important.
Your gift will provide support to:
- Young moms and dads who turn to ACS for support and learn how to effectively parent and care for their children
- Newcomers who turn to ACS for help with filling out government forms, English language classes and answers to their many questions as they settle into their new home
- Seniors who come to ACS to participate in fun and friendship at weekly gatherings, or to find information and resources
- People who come to the Food Bank that cannot afford to feed themselves and their families
- Women and children who come to ACS who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse or domestic violence and need help with counselling and court procedures
- People who are confronted by the justice system and need legal aid
- And so many others looking for help of one kind or another
