The Introduction to Computers and Windows course is a must for someone new to the personal computer. It is intended to provide the participant with the skills to start the computer up, turn the computer off, use the mose easily, and manage the windows and desktop that is visible when the computer is turned on.  Read on for more detail.

  • Input devices such as the keyboard and mouse
  • Effective use of right and left clicking
  • How to navigate the desktop and menus
  • Learning how to modify windows
  • How to adjust your computer for your comfort: including the mouse, keyboard, monitor, desktop size, text and icon size
  • How to create icons
  • How to create folders
  • How to create files
  • How to effectively use the recycle bin
