Discovery

If you like to learn, be active, and to be a part of the community, the Discovery Program - for adults with disabilities – is where you want to be. We are a full-time day program that is fun, safe, and flexible.

We offer:
• Small and large group activities
• Monthly recreation schedule
• Weekly special projects of interest
• Weekly fitness and floor hockey
• Volunteer experience and positions

Our Facility has:
• A great room to visit with friends
• A computer room
• A fitness room
• A media room
• A fully equipped kitchen

We encourage participants to explore and discover their interests through guided activities within our program and in the community. Increased independence in communication, problem solving, personal awareness, safety and relationship skills are just few of the benefits the Discovery Program can offer.

Our community connections help to make our program fun, adventurous and educational. We partnered with The Aktion Club to provide the Discovery Program Centre for a Monday night drop-in and games night (6-9 p.m.). We partnered with the Special Adventures Group to plan our trip to Disneyland.
