Focus on Friends

Leisure and recreational activity choices designed to develop and improve the social and daily living skills of adults with developmental disabilities in their mid to senior years.
Serves the needs of:

  • Adults in our community with Developmental Disabilities
  • Adults currently in receipt of disability benefits (DB11)
  • Adults wishing to share their time with peers in a supported environment

Our activities include:

  • Community Outings
  • Coffee Club
  • Bowling
  • Drop-in Social
  • Creative Arts & Crafts
  • Bingo

Program Goals:

  • Fully include individuals in their community
  • Offer a variety of leisure/recreational opportunities
  • Support communication & relationship skills
  • Provide activities that offer choices that are meaningful

Intake for this program should be made by your CLBC Facilitator.
