The Garden Box
In Partnership, Best for Babies and the Food Bank is offering the Garden Box.
What is it?
It is a program that provides access to affordable fruits and vegetables at a lower price.
Who is it for?
For anyone who wants access to more affordable fruits and vegetables.
What is the cost?
$5.00 per box. You pay at Abbotsford Community Services or at the Food Bank by the third Friday of the month. You can get as many as you want.
What is the value?
You will be getting quality produce purchased on the same day as the Garden Box is distributed. Value is $10 or more.
Am I eligible?
The following people will qualify:
Anyone living in Abbotsford
All Best for Babies participants qualify for a free box every month.
Where do I pick it up from?
Best for Babies participants will pick the Garden Boxes from the Food Bank on the third Wednesday of the month between 11:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m.
THERE IS NO DELIVERY.
RECEIPTS OR PERSONAL PICTURE ID IS REQUIRED.
What's included in the Garden box?
A variety of quality, fresh produce. A mixture of fruits and vegetables is included. Variation depends on the season, on weekly specials, and donations etc.
