Director of Quality Assurance, Training, Privacy & Special Projects
In her current role, Louise works with programs to ensure ACS is CARF accredited and she oversees the safeguards to keep staff, client, volunteer and donor information private. She also oversees the training of staff. Louise first came to ACS in 2004 where she worked as the Supervisor of our New Beginnings, Abby Dads and Best for Babies programs. After taking a break to serve as the Executive Director of the Mainland BC Military Family Resource Centre, she returned to ACS in 2015.
In addition to her role as a Director, Louise is involved with the agency’s Staff Day and Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Some of the things she enjoys most about working at ACS are the team environment, professionalism, variety of work and the collective expectation that we take on social justice causes.
Louise has a MSc in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and a Public Administration Certificate from the University of Victoria. She is a member of the BC Greens of Langley Riding Association and previously served on the Boards of the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley (now SARA) and the Langley Environmental Partners Society. She plays lots of tennis and has a husband and two adult children.
